Spiritual Direction, Introversion, and the Church

Linking a lot these days…

Adam S. McHugh, author of Introverts in the Church, reflects on his experience becoming a spiritual director and the contrast with how the church tends to function.   It’s a worthwhile description of direction and an interesting take on how church culture has evolved in the past few centuries.  I’m always a little leery of people who cry “Introvert!” despite being one myself (more on that another day), but McHugh makes some worthwhile observations.

Does this sound like it might be helpful for you?  Looking for a spiritual director?  Take a look at ESDA for someone in your area.
