A Collect for the Tenth Day of Lent

“After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.”

Enduring Savior, who knew weariness and need, as do we, grant that, when we are worn out and at the end of ourselves, we would be strengthened by your example and ministered to by your servants, who liveth and reigneth in the heavenly places, one with the Father and Holy Spirit. Amen.

  1. I read this today in a state of deep weariness, and it was a help and a comfort to pray it.
